BTL Scout ("the app", "we", "us") is a buy-to-let property analysis tool developed by Trevlye. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our own servers. The app has no account system and does not require you to provide any personal information.
All property information you enter (addresses, purchase prices, rental estimates, mortgage details, and analysis results) is saved locally on your device only, using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
When you use the map view, the app:
The app does not request or access your device's GPS location.
Pro features are available as an in-app purchase through Google Play Billing. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google. We do not receive or store any payment card information. Purchase records are managed by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
The app contains links to external websites (such as Rightmove, Zoopla, and Land Registry) for reference purposes. Clicking these links opens the respective site in your browser. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
The app contains no advertising and does not use any analytics, crash reporting, or behavioural tracking services.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
